The property

Villa Chiara is a charming family home located just a short stroll from the historic center of Montepulciano, surrounded by greenery and offering a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside, extending to Lake Trasimeno and Cortona. The Red Room, one of the two guest accommodations, is furnished with antique family furniture, including a wardrobe for guests' use. This room features a double bed, a comfortable armchair, two windows (one with a mosquito net), and a private bathroom with a shower. A third bed can be added without sacrificing space or comfort.

Despite its serene location, Villa Chiara is only a 2-minute walk from Porta al Prato, which provides access to the lower part of the historic center, filled with Renaissance palaces, traditional restaurants, and shops. The property is also easily accessible for those wanting to visit Piazza Grande, which can be reached on foot or by urban shuttles departing from the nearby bus station.

Guests can park for free in front of the property, in the nearest public parking lot to the historic center. Additionally, cyclists and motorcyclists can secure their vehicles in the garden. Villa Chiara also features a terrace and a designated garden area for guests, perfect for reading outdoors or enjoying a smoke.

For animal lovers, Villa Chiara welcomes pets, provided prior notice is given. However, it's important to note that there are three cats living in the house, so those with allergies should keep this in mind. The property is environmentally conscious, using eco-friendly soaps and practicing waste separation.

Villa Chiara serves as an excellent starting point for exploring Montepulciano on foot, as well as for excursions to nearby locations like Pienza and the Val d’Orcia, which can be reached in a 20-minute drive. For those needing a longer stay for work or study, special rates are available. My husband Giordano and I are here to provide tourist information, maps, and suggestions to help you make the most of your visit. I speak French and my husband speaks English, and we can also connect you with Portuguese and German speakers if needed.
