FIREWOOD AND OLIVES

Throughout the month of November and into December, we would appreciate some help both in the fields collecting olives and in the woods gathering firewood. These tasks are useful for us and, we hope, enjoyable for you in a genuine natural setting. The work is suitable for everyone, young and old, as long as you are willing to spend the day immersed in nature and keep your phone more off than on.

The property

Since 1936, our family has been living at Podere La Casellina as honored guests, deeply respecting the nature and traditions that make it special. This property, which once belonged to the nearby church of San Piero a Terreno and was given in sharecropping to our grandparents after their marriage, has always been a gathering place for friends and family. Today, we wish to share this connection to the land and its treasures by welcoming guests in the spirit of tradition.

Nestled in the Tuscan countryside of Figline Valdarno, just 20 km from Florence and between the beautiful regions of Chianti and Valdarno, the estate is surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, orchards, and gardens, all cultivated using ancient methods. We produce authentic oil and wine, products of this generous land.

For your stay, we offer three en-suite rooms converted from the barn of our farmhouse, where we also host guests for breakfast and dinner. As members of Anfn, we provide special treatment for all members, valid throughout the 2024 season, with indicative rates of 56 euros per day for adults and between 20 and 28 euros for children, including accommodation, breakfast, and dinner.
