B&B Chicchi di Melograno

Chicchi di Melograno is a charming bed and breakfast located in Modica, created from the renovation of an old Sicilian house in one of the city’s historic neighborhoods, nestled among cobblestone streets and residences that retain the charm of a bygone era. The strategic location of the establishment allows guests to appreciate Modica's remarkable urban setting, which is easily accessible by car from the road leading to one of the most beautiful viewpoints, as well as on foot through its characteristic alleyways and staircases.

The B&B is just a short walk from the city center, particularly from Corso Umberto I, which is filled with shops and famous pastry shops. The name "Chicchi di Melograno" is inspired by the well-known work of Gesualdo Bufalino and also reflects the arrangement of the rooms, “scattered like seeds” around the central structure.

Chicchi di Melograno offers four double rooms, with the option to add one or two extra beds. These rooms have been skillfully created from the restoration of small houses and are tastefully furnished, striking a harmonious balance between early 20th-century furniture and contemporary decor. Each room has a private entrance, an ensuite bathroom, and overlooks a shared courtyard equipped with tables and chairs, perfect for enjoying relaxing afternoons.

Breakfast is served in a communal area with a kitchen, characterized by the white typical stone of Modica, which has been beautifully restored. All rooms are equipped with a TV, minibar, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and courtesy toiletries.
