Originally conceived primarily as a home and living space, TerreMesu is the result of a project rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and respect for natural rhythms. The property includes an olive grove with about 600 trees, a small vegetable garden, and areas inhabited by goats, sheep, and chickens, all set in an authentic rural environment where guests can rediscover the joy of outdoor living and experience the local traditions, knowledge, and flavors up close.
The building evokes the charm of traditional country farmhouses, combined with the comfort of a modern structure built according to the principles of bioarchitecture and Feng Shui. Cork and wood have been used for the ventilated roof, window frames, and furnishings, while terracotta, stone, and bricks characterize the floors and verandas. The careful selection of materials has minimized the use of solvents, chemicals, and synthetic materials, creating warm, naturally comfortable spaces with excellent climate control. Air conditioning is also available if needed.
Environmental care continues with a 6 kW photovoltaic system and an approach aimed at ensuring a low-impact stay. Adjacent to the houses, a swimming pool is set in the lawn, offering a perfect spot to relax surrounded by greenery and the Sardinian countryside.
The location allows easy access to nature, the sea, and exploration of the area. Within about 10-15 minutes by car, guests can reach shops, bars, restaurants, pizzerias, a pharmacy, a bank, and the centers of Castiadas, Muravera, and San Vito. Some of the most stunning nearby beaches include Feraxi, Cala Sinzias, Piscina Rei, and Capo Ferrato. Villasimius is also easily accessible, while Cagliari is approximately a 50-minute drive away.
