In the far southern part of Sardinia, at the base of the Sant'Antioco lagoon, lies the quaint village of Matzaccara, enveloped by ancient pines and dense Mediterranean vegetation. This hamlet has served as a haven for fishermen since Phoenician times, where the Mistral wind carries the scents of the Mediterranean nature, and culinary traditions enrich the life of this serene community.
The B&B Su Matutzu is passionately run by Paola and her daughter Marina, and it derives its name from their family surname as well as from the Sardinian word for watercress, a flavorful salad green that grows naturally in spring water streams.
Our establishment features three double bedrooms, with the option to add an extra bed or a crib for children, making it perfect for families. Amenities include two bathrooms, a rustic kitchen, and a cozy living room.
During the pleasant season, guests can enjoy delicious and authentic breakfasts served in the garden, where they can relax and take in the tranquility of the surrounding landscape. We look forward to providing you with an authentic and unforgettable experience in the heart of Sardinia!
