In the heart of Ossola, located in Montescheno, Valle Antrona, the Antica Locanda welcomes its guests into an intimate and well-maintained setting, surrounded by the tranquility of the Alpine nature. This location is perfect for those looking to balance relaxation with exploration: within less than an hour, one can reach the stunning Toce waterfalls, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Alpe Veglia and Alpe Devero Natural Park, and the thermal baths of Premia. In about thirty minutes by car, you can arrive at Antrona Lake and Cavalli Lake, which are ideal destinations for walks and unspoiled views. Just a hundred meters from the house, the forest begins, offering trails suitable for both children and more experienced hikers. Additionally, from Domodossola, the Vigezzina-Centovalli railway connects Italy to Switzerland, leading to Locarno and providing a picturesque journey through mountains and valleys.
The Cat apartment, approximately 70 square meters in size, accommodates up to six guests and is designed for families and groups of friends. It features a double bedroom, a second bedroom with two single beds and an extra pull-out bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living room with a TV, board games, and a sofa bed. The bathroom includes a shower. The furnished balcony with a table and chairs invites you to enjoy the view in complete tranquility. Amenities include WiFi, a washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, linens, essential kitchen supplies, personal care items, a hairdryer, a sewing kit, and a first aid kit. The accommodation is equipped with safety devices such as a fire extinguisher and smoke, gas, and carbon monoxide detectors. A crib with linens can be provided upon request, and there are toys available for younger guests. From April to September, guests can take advantage of an outdoor area equipped with a barbecue, table, benches, umbrella, and deck chairs. One pet is allowed.
The Fox apartment, about 40 square meters, is a cozy option for couples or small groups of up to three people. It includes a bedroom with a French double bed, a spacious living area with a kitchenette, TV, and sofa bed, as well as a bathroom with a shower. Here too, the furnished balcony allows guests to relax outdoors while enjoying the surrounding landscape. Guests will find the same amenities as in the other apartment, including WiFi, appliances, linens, basic supplies, and safety features. A crib for children is available upon request, and during the spring and summer months, the outdoor area becomes a communal space perfect for enjoying pleasant moments outside. One pet is permitted per apartment.
