LA CASA SUL BALLATOIO

Hi, I'm Isabella

I will be happy to host you for FREE in my property in exchange for goods or services.
Here are my barter wishes:

The property

The Casa sul Ballatoio is located within a late 19th-century building, a typical representation of historical Milan. The structure is currently undergoing a renovation that further enhances its original charm, while preserving the authentic atmosphere of Milanese “case di ringhiera.” The apartment, fully renovated on April 10, 2018, and equipped with a national identification code, blends the historic character of the property with modern comforts and meticulous attention to detail, providing a welcoming and functional space designed to ensure a pleasant stay.

The accommodation overlooks a picturesque flowered balcony that changes its appearance and ambiance with the seasons. In spring and summer, it is bright and sun-filled; in autumn, it takes on warm hues; and in winter, it may appear quietly blanketed in snow, offering captivating views. The environment evokes the style of old Milan, reinterpreted with contemporary taste to create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere for guests.

The project is born from the owner's passion for hospitality. After more than a decade of experience in the tourism sector, gained through various roles in customer service, organization, and reception at a prestigious hotel in Milan, the idea emerged to create a personal space dedicated to travelers. From this desire, Casa sul Ballatoio took shape as the first realization of a journey built with enthusiasm and a focus on guests, aiming to make newcomers feel welcomed and comfortable.

The apartment is situated in the Isola neighborhood, one of the most distinctive and vibrant areas of the city, filled with bars, restaurants, and jazz clubs. In recent years, the area has seen significant development and is now served by two metro lines and several bus routes that make it easy to reach Milan's main attractions. Despite the lively neighborhood, the accommodation faces the building's internal courtyard, ensuring a quiet and peaceful environment, perfect for resting after a day spent exploring the city.
