The property
Linda’s Retreat B&B is a villa nestled in the lush greenery of the Roman countryside, offering a peaceful and welcoming environment where time seems to slow down, yet it is just minutes away from the center of Fiano Romano and the A1 motorway exit. Its location provides easy access to Rome while allowing guests to return to the calm and serenity of a nature-surrounded setting.
The property was created from Linda and Wolfango’s desire to share the tranquility of their home with those seeking a warm, simple, and unobtrusive hospitality. Each room, uniquely decorated with attention to detail, overlooks the garden and caters to various types of stays, from solo travelers to couples, families, and small groups.
Every morning, a breakfast is prepared with special care given to the quality of the ingredients, featuring homemade pastries and local specialties. During the warmer months, the garden and veranda become inviting spaces to read, relax among olive trees, pick aromatic herbs, or simply enjoy the views and peacefulness of the countryside.
The family’s pets also live on the property. Two dogs may be present in the outdoor areas and are managed by the owners upon guests’ arrival. In the common areas, guests might meet Neve, the house cat, who can be kept in her designated space if needed. Guests with pet allergies, fears, or special requirements are advised to inform the hosts in advance. Particular attention is given to cleanliness and the upkeep of the premises.
Linda and Wolfango are available to recommend restaurants, itineraries, villages, and lesser-known spots, helping guests discover the area through the eyes of locals who experience it daily.
Linda’s Retreat also serves as an excellent base for exploring the Roman countryside and the Sabina region. Nearby are the historic center of Fiano Romano, the Orsini Ducal Castle, and the Church of Santo Stefano Protomartire. Its proximity to the A1 motorway and Passo Corese railway station further facilitates travel to Rome and other major nearby destinations.
History enthusiasts can visit the Lucus Feroniae Archaeological Park and the Villa of the Volusii Saturnini, while nature lovers can explore the Nazzano Tevere-Farfa Nature Reserve, which offers trails, birdwatching, and excursions along the Tiber River. Not far away is Monte Soratte, featuring scenic routes, the Hermitage of San Silvestro, and the Soratte Bunker.
The towns of Capena, Nazzano, Sant’Oreste, and Castelnuovo di Porto are among the nearby places worth discovering, along with local farms and producers where visitors can learn about wines, extra virgin olive oil, and typical products of the Sabina region.
A stay at Linda’s Retreat allows guests to balance days exploring Rome with visits to charming villages, nature, and local flavors, returning each evening to the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of a countryside home.
