Le Casite

Years ago, we made the decision to renovate the house that now serves as our B&B, guided by a single principle: to honor the space that welcomes us. We preserved the original dimensions and natural materials, such as stone and wood, which are characteristic of the Karst homes. We didn’t introduce any modern elements, as we believe this house should retain its authentic soul, just like the surrounding Karst landscape.

This house, once home to farmers, remains unchanged; today, we are the ones who reside here. Located in Trebiciano - Trebce, a small Karst village just a few kilometers from Trieste, it is set in a landscape you might not expect, filled with history, culture, and events along lesser-known roads. Here, you won’t encounter anything ordinary; these are paths where you can enjoy fair and sustainable refreshments, and you will receive a warm welcome.

All of our rooms are double, featuring private bathrooms and independent entrances, ideal for those seeking privacy and comfort. We do not offer quadruple rooms, nor do we provide extra beds or cribs, and currently, we do not accommodate pets. Breakfast, always included, is served outdoors when the weather permits, featuring fresh, local products from our trusted suppliers, all located within a few kilometers.

The setting where we serve breakfast reflects the history of the house, enriched by farming memorabilia and carefully selected books sourced from independent bookstores. We love to share the story of our region with those who, like us, are interested in discovering authentic places. To this end, we have created simple publications under “Edizioni Le Casite” to guide our guests in exploring the Karst.

We are always present, striving to do our best, as we believe that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything. We will welcome you with the same spirit that inspired us to build this place, dedicated to those who, like the wind, always find a way through walls and barriers.
