The property
In the heart of Fagagna, one of the most charming villages in Friuli Venezia Giulia, this lovely little house has been designed to provide a comfortable and authentic stay, just a short walk from all the main amenities. Its central location makes everything easily accessible: bars, pizzerias, restaurants, supermarkets, a pharmacy, a bank, a newsstand, a laundry service, and a bus stop to Udine, all within walking distance.
The house spans three levels connected by wooden stairs. On the ground floor, exposed beams and modern, relaxing furnishings welcome guests into a friendly atmosphere. Here, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen complete with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator, a living area with a sofa bed and TV, as well as a small laundry area featuring a washing machine, iron, drying rack, and detergents. Every detail has been lovingly curated, with a focus on creative reuse: much of the décor consists of carefully selected, sanitized, and refurbished second-hand items, contributing to a unique and inviting ambiance.
On the first floor, there is a room with two single beds (which can be joined upon request), wooden floors and ceiling with exposed beams, a desk, and a private terrace furnished for breakfast or moments of relaxation. The adjacent bathroom has a window and is equipped with a shower.
The attic level hosts a spacious room with three single beds and a desk area, accompanied by a second windowed bathroom with a bathtub. The well-distributed spaces and functional furnishings make the house ideal for large families, groups of friends, or guests accompanied by pets. A kit specifically designed for four-legged friends is also available.
Guests can easily find parking thanks to the numerous free or timed parking spots nearby. The house comes equipped with bed and bath linens, children's toys, a high chair, and all the comforts needed for a relaxed and worry-free stay.
The owner, who is passionate about cooking, barbecuing, craft beer, and DIY projects, created this venture alongside his wife Sonia and their children. They are also accompanied by Nala and Koda, two lively dogs that are integral to the family. The same attention given to their home is extended to guests, with a willingness to help and a practical spirit.
Fagagna is known for events like the Donkey Race and the Palio dei Borghi, but it offers much more: the Villalta Castle, the Cjase Cocê museum of rural life, a military fort, the Quadris Oasis with its storks, the Church of San Michele in Castello, and numerous trails related to the Great War. Nearby, you can visit San Daniele, Ragogna, Rive d’Arcano, Spilimbergo, and Colloredo di Montalbano, while Aquileia, Grado, Trieste, Lignano, and Bibione are less than an hour away. For cycling enthusiasts, the area features well-marked and maintained trails, with options for e-bike rentals.
