Welcome to Domus Aromatica, a spacious apartment nestled in the tranquility of the Umbrian hills, just a short walk from the historic center of Assisi. Located on the second floor of a small building, the apartment features a private entrance and offers well-appointed spaces inspired by the medicinal plants cultivated at the nearby organic farm. The three bedrooms, each dedicated to a different essential oil, are bright and comfortable, equipped with single or double beds featuring memory foam mattresses and high-quality linens. Each room has a balcony overlooking the valley or the park, USB ports, and furnishings designed to ensure a relaxing stay.
The two bathrooms, both with windows, are equipped with fluffy towels, a shower, a bidet, a hairdryer, and homemade lavender soap. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen serves as the convivial heart of the home, featuring gas burners, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee machine with pods, and a selection of herbal teas, jams, and cookies available for guests. From the kitchen balcony, one can enjoy a stunning view of the valley.
The living room, adjacent to the kitchen, is designed for relaxation. Furnished with a wooden sofa, armchairs, a TV, a record player, a bookshelf, and board games, it opens onto a large terrace with a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and guests have the opportunity to learn about and purchase products from the farm.
The location, just outside the walls of Assisi and near Porta Cappuccini, allows for easy walking access to the city's main attractions, such as the Basilica of San Francesco, the Cathedral of San Rufino, Santa Chiara, and Santa Maria Maggiore, where Blessed Carlo Acutis is laid to rest. The Eremo delle Carceri, Mount Subasio, and some of the most beautiful villages in Umbria are just a short drive away. Free parking is available nearby, and upon request, a shuttle service from the station can be arranged.
