The property

Le Querce is a cluster of restored ancient stazzi located on the hill of Baja Sardinia, 800 meters from the sea, 3 kilometers from the center of Baja, and 6 kilometers from Porto Cervo. It sits in a magical setting: at the end of a private road, nestled in an amphitheater of rocks with 3 hectares of garden, surrounded only by Mediterranean scrub. While nothing here is "luxury," everything is tended to with passion, making it an invaluable spot for those seeking peace and quiet just a stone's throw from the world. The property has been featured in various magazines. You can find us on Google ("le querce baja sardinia") or on maps for directions. The website provides a clearer picture of the houses and what we do.

For bartering: the period is from spring until around May 15-20, or during October and November. We offer accommodation for 1 or 2 people in a private, fully equipped house with a kitchenette. Typically, it will be Casa Rosa or Belsit.

A top priority for us is the maintenance of the greenery. This isn't a demanding job: we handle the pruning, and then you would need to collect the branches and stack them for burning, remove the grass from under the trees, or hold up a net while putting up a fence. Essentially, these are small tasks that would take too much time and effort for one person to do alone.

Not interested in gardening? Alternatively, at certain times, you could lime-wash (using slaked lime). If you’re unfamiliar with lime, we can teach you; it’s a beautiful material, and you’ll save yourself from taking a specific course. Of course, these tasks aren’t continuous; they could be one day on and one day off, or half a day on and half a day off, depending on the weather.

Having a car is necessary for getting around. For more information, feel free to contact us via Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, or WhatsApp.
