The property
The Guglielmina B&B was established in 2015 following a complete renovation of a family home, aiming to provide a stay characterized by comfort and tranquility. Each accommodation is equipped with independent heating, a television, a refrigerator, and a microwave, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi, which has become essential even in the most relaxed settings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting: the hosts live on the upper floor and are always available to offer advice, assistance, or just to chat.
Valerio, who has lived in Quarna since birth, has an in-depth knowledge of the area and is eager to share tips for discovering hidden gems and authentic beauties of the village and its surroundings.
Although Quarna is a small village, it offers all the necessary services: grocery stores, a butcher with local meat, a pharmacy, a newsstand, a café, a restaurant with a pizzeria, a playground, and an ATM. The cultural heart of the village is the Ethnographic Museum and Woodwind Instrument Museum, which preserves local history and the artisanal tradition related to the production of saxophones, clarinets, and flutes.
For nature lovers, relaxation alternates with adventure: guests can embark on excursions directly from the B&B through streams, forests, and alpine pastures, or explore nearby lakes such as Orta, Maggiore, Mergozzo, Monate, and Varese. On clear days, the view can extend to Monte Rosa, Monviso, and the Ligurian Alps. In the summer, the village hosts a renowned music festival that attracts internationally acclaimed jazz and blues artists, making the stay even more special.
