The property

The Canova di Biforco is a historic house built in 1898, which for decades served as a home for farming families and laborers. After being renovated in the 1980s, it became our residence and now opens its doors to welcome guests and host cultural and recreational events.

We are located just 15 minutes from Rocca San Casciano and 30 minutes from Premilcuore, in the heart of the Montone valley, nestled between two picturesque rivers, the Montone and the Rabbi. Nearby towns offer easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, supermarkets, and weekly markets. From the house, which sits above the San Donnino in Soglio abbey and is surrounded by woods, trails ideal for walking or biking begin.

Canova frequently hosts concerts, readings, workshops, and yoga groups, and is also available for those wishing to organize their own events. It is a suitable place for remote workers, thanks to a fast wifi and ethernet connection and spaces that allow for quiet work, both indoors and in the garden.

We offer a 25 sqm room for rent, furnished with a double bed, a desk with an ergonomic chair, an extra screen, a coat rack, a shelf, and a locker. Musical instruments are available, as well as the opportunity to share social moments with us and other visitors of the house.

The stay can include a full fee, which covers rent and utilities, or a reduced fee that involves helping with daily activities such as house maintenance or wood gathering.
