The property

Just a short walk from Piazza Vittorio Veneto and the central station, Matteotti Rooms is the ideal choice for those looking to experience Matera with ease and elegance. The inviting and well-maintained rooms provide a private and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for both business trips and stays with a partner or family. Each accommodation includes a private bathroom with a complimentary toiletries set, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a coffee machine, a kettle, and complete linens.

Overlooking one of the city's quieter yet central areas, the property allows guests to easily reach the famous Sassi, the rock churches, and major attractions such as Castello Tramontano, the Cathedral, and the Convent of Sant'Agostino on foot. Its proximity to the bus and train station, just 100 meters away, makes Matteotti Rooms particularly convenient for those arriving without a car.

The establishment is managed by Loris, who warmly welcomes each guest with care and offers genuine recommendations to uncover the true essence of Matera. From hidden viewpoints to excursions through the Lucanian landscapes, every suggestion is designed to turn the stay into a personal and memorable experience.
